A very nice carbine from the manufacturer ARES which is known for its guns that offer high performance right out of the box at a good price.
This carbine features the famous EFCS gearbox which offers several advanced features that not many other rifles have.
The EFCS system utilises a sensor that detects the position of the rifle's sector gear as there is a magnet in the gear.
Thanks to this system, every time you release the trigger, the power supply stops when the gear is in neutral.
What this means is that the gearbox will never stop with tensioned springs and pressure on the gears.
This saves a lot of wear and tear on your internal parts which is a big plus! The EFCS system does not use a traditional trigger assembly, but ARES has replaced this with an electronic trigger that allows the safe use of strong batteries without anything sooting again.
The response to these gearboxes is incredible because of this, it is comparable to the most expensive types of mosfet and we say this from personal experience.
You also get a very nice feedback from the trigger as it is a button that clicks inside the gearbox when you pull the trigger.
EFCS can be programmed to 3rd Burst using the ARES EFCS Programmer (not included).
Spring replacement for this rifle is very easy as you only need to remove the stock to unscrew the spring guide and remove the spring, unlike most other M4s where you have to lift out the gearbox to remove the spring.
